About Room on the Broom:

Room on The Broom, first published in 2001 is a British children’s story book by writer and playwright Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, it tells the story of a kind witch and her cat who invite three other animals (a dog, a bird and a frog) to join them travelling on her broomstick. In 2012 it was adapted into a 3D stop motion computer animated short TV film. The film was nominated for the Best Animated Short Film at the 2014 Academy Awards and can be seen in Australia on ABC Kids and ABC iView.
